About the Author
Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, an English writer, mathematician, Anglican deacon, and photographer. Best known for his classics Alice s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and Jabberwocky, Carroll was also an accomplished inventor who created an early version of what is today known as Scrabble. Good cheap quick read!

This book is a hot good quick read at just the right price! I love short story erotica but sadly lots of authors in my opinion way over price for the content or lack there of. This is the right price and the right content. Enjoy and also see David's baby a prequel in the series.

different from all other guides; extremely descriptive

This book differs from the usual guides, as it describes the historical evolution, from the Old Kingdom to the Late Period, of the tombs and temples of Thebes (modern Luxor). The authors provide detailed and accurate information about life in the city. Subjects covered include the Valley of the Kings, that of the Queens and of the Nobles. Issues such as tomb decoration and burials of private individuals are addressed. This is an excellent, recommended, must-read book for all.

Be aware and beware

Be aware that there are at least two versions of this book labeled as an eighth edition.

The version described on this page ISBN-10: 0073386103 / ISBN-13: 978-0077460396, the version I ordered (used).

Then there is the version I received ISBN-10: 0073386103 / ISBN-13: 978-0073386102, it is unclear if it is supposed to have a CD and Formula Card. The version I received had it, but another reviewer of that version did not receive it.

Beware that if you receive the latter version the Amazon sell back price is about half that of the former. Be sure to check the ISBN to make sure you receive the book you ordered. I wish I had!

As for the book itself, it seemed fine for the class taken. The CD was not really very useful, but you must buy what is required for the class.

Surprised that I can teach myself Statistics

Really good book for those students who are taking this class online and teaching yourselves the material. Examples of problems are shown step-by-step, and new information is scaffolded onto the stuff learned from previous chapters. I wish the new chapters would remind you of the old information (because you need it to do the new problems), but I use The Idiot's Guide for that. There are some helpful hints in the book about using Excel, so I didn't need to buy a calculator just for this class. I'm still surprised that this book calls itself "Elementary" because there isn't anything elementary about this subject. Statistical formulas are pretty nasty, and problems can take hours to compete. Great overall, but an additional guide can be helpful if you're not taking this in a traditional classroom environment, or don't have a tutor.

Perfect but no CD or Formula Sheet :(

The book came really fast, which was great because i didn't fall behind in class. It came in perfect condition, no pages missing or anything. One down side was that it did not come with the Data DC or the Formula Sheet, I didn't mind that it didn't come with the CD but I was really disappointed that there was no formula sheet because I need it for tests in my class. If it wasn't for that this book would have gotten 5 stars instead of 4. Before purchasing make sure it contains formula sheet, if not I was able to find it on google for free. Other than that the book is great and the way it is divided and set up is easy to follow, each lesson is explained perfectly and straight to the point.

No me gustó, es una misma idea repetida diez mil veces. El hecho de que diferentes autores escriban sobre el mismo asunto hace que sea muy redundante. Estaría muy bien usar un corrector de texto básico porque hay errores en la construcción y en la gramática de varias frases.
