Eight months ago Tasha Joseph ran away, and her stepmother, Emma, has been searching for her ever since. She is desperate to give Tasha the home and security she deserves.
The problem is, Emma isn’t the only one looking for Tasha. The police are keen to find her too. She could be a vital witness in a criminal trial, and DCI Tom Douglas has a team constantly on the lookout for her. But Tasha remains hidden, and nobody appears to have seen her.
Suddenly, the stakes are raised. Somebody is offering money – a lot of money – for information about Tasha’s whereabouts.
Tom and Emma know they have never been closer to finding the young girl. But they also recognise that she has never been closer to danger. Can they find her first?
She can run – but for how long can she hide?

About the Author
Rachel Abbott was born just outside Manchester, England. She spent most of her working life as the Managing Director of an interactive media company, developing software and websites for the education market. The sale of that business enabled her to take early retirement and fulfil one of her lifelong ambitions - to buy and restore a property in Italy. But even in Italy the winters can be cold and wet, and so Rachel decided to fill those dismal days by fulfilling another ambition - writing a psychological thriller! ONLY THE INNOCENT, her first novel, was more successful than she could ever have imagined, and it enabled her to change her life yet again, and become a full time writer. Her third novel, SLEEP TIGHT, was released on 24th February 2014 and was her third number one.Stranger Child, Rachel's latest book, was released on 24th February 2015.Rachel's website can be found at:Website : http://www.rachel-abbott.com Blog : http://rachelabbottwriter.wordpress.com/Facebook : http://www.facebook.com/RachelAbbott1Writer And via Twitter

Nowhere Child
By Kindle Customer Jane Was Here
I had a hard time putting this book down. It is hard to believe there are such horrible people in the world. I could hardly imagine the rough life the children were living. It made my heart hurt. I did love the ending thanks.

Stranger Child was so good but I hated not knowing what happened next. I enjoyed the story and the tying up of loose ends.
